SOLOVOX V8S MAX online update the firmware without losing user data

Just a few hours ago, we talked about updating the channel list on SOLOVOX V8S MAX by the network. Now let’s look at the device’s software or firmware update.

There is no doubt that the V8S MAX is supported for updating the software or firmware online. And there is a better OTA feature called Safe Update. What is it? With the Safe Update function, you can online the new firmware version without losing user data.

Safely update the firmware

  • Make sure your V8S MAX is connected to a stable Internet
  • Please go to the APPLICATION screen and select Upgrade By Network option
  • Select Safe Update as the Upgrade Mode option
  • Select the Start option to start to download the firmware list file
  • Select your firmware version from the pop-up firmware list window, such as SOLOVOX_V8SMAX_20201111V02 option
  • Your V8S MAX will start to download the firmware version you selected
  • Select Yes to confirm your update when you see a new pop-up confirm window
  • Your V8S MAX will automatically finish the updating process

    Help me solve the problem with decoding channels through newcamd. I bought two receivers v8s max. Firmware solovOX_V8SMAX220220612V0202.00. Configured newcamd server parameters online status. But the channels will not decode. What could be the problem? The transponder had to be added to the manual network search via the Internet to the NTV + 36 satellite, the channels do not work.

    hello do you have new firmware for solovox v8 max e have problems to decode the sond in codec AAC in some portuguese chanells with this last update of frequency in january can you help me please ?

    I bought a shipment of 5 Solovox V8S Max and I have a problem with the Sporttv and BTV channels in Portugal, sometimes they don’t work or it takes a long time to start. Is there any update for this problem And that I have an OpenBox V8S Plus with the Solvobox version and it works fine on this one with this problem
