Recover the firmware file to easily repair most of the software problems on SOLOVOX V9 and V9S

If there is a problem that may effect the feel of the using on your SOLOVOX V9 or V9S, for example, the satellite restarts again and again, it might be a problem with software compatibility. Then don’t worry, because you can try to repair it.

Well, most of the software problems actually, we can solve it by recovering the firmware file that can be downloaded from the Download page. It’s easy to do this.

Recover the Firmware

  • Power Off the satellite device
  • You should have a firmware file on your computer, such as V1982_VOD_JS_MIRA_USBNIC_STALKER_AUTH_QUICKEPG_XTREAM_IPHD_PANDA_IPFOX_SOLOVOX_TRUE_V9_LEDF_SKV9.bin
  • Please rename your firmware file to romnew.bin and put it in the root directory of the USB disk
  • Plug the USB disk into your satellite device
  • Power On the satellite device and press the Menu button on the remote control quickly and continuously until the screen shows the Download From USB screen
  • Now the device is recovering
  • Once the recovery s completed, your satellite device will restart automatically

And there are, without a doubt, many problems such as not powering on, disappearance of menu and much more that the recovery function can solve.

    hola tengo un solovox v9 bloqueado y no consigo desbloquear
    sigo cada paso descargando fitware en el usb drive
    lo coloco en el receptor lo enciendo y le doy al menu me sale la pantalla como indica y no se descarga el archivo y no se que hacer y le e cambiado el nombre colocando romnew.bin y sigue sin desbloquear.

    que tengo que hacer?

    Buenas tardes, tengo un Solovox V9S y uno de los problemas que he detectado es el siguiente:
    Me he confeccionado una ‘Lista de Favoritos’ con diez apartados, Cine, Deportes, Noticias etc. etc. pero resulta de que estando en un canal y con el mando a distancia le doy para que avance pero no lo hace, siempre vuelve al canal nº 1.
    Me gustaría saber si a alguien más le sucede este problema y, si lo ha resuelto.

      What is your firmware version of SOLOVOX V9S? Or our customer service will send a new V2094 firmware to you, then you can try it on your satellite device. And also, can you please send a photo or video (Google Drive or DropBox) for reference?

    Buenos días, el firmware que tenía era el 2046, pero posteriormente recibí el 2094 el cual lo cargué en mi equipo observando de que no se había corregido dicho problema.

    e try with eromupgrade but say wrong file and i downloaded last firmware for this v9s.

    Hello, I did an update of my solovox v9s software from the internet and it stopped working. It just says LOAD and does not start the box.
    I made this recovery but didn´t work. It says:
